To make it up to you all, feel free to destroy me on Halo 3 (oh, uh, did I mention I blew half a grand Tuesday?) by adding my gamertag, Avaunt.
Also, someone should either drill a hole in the adjoining wall between the computer and game room, or buy me a DCI adaptor, so I no longer have to crane my neck due to having a short cat5/lan cable and no good place to put a TV in the computer room. Hopefully said hole will be drilled today.
In other news, payday. Woo!
Related to the above, PGR4 ($40), mom ($20), Zach ($25), and Wal-Mart (Half-price Gears of War 1600 Live Points cards? Hell yes!) are all going to take my money.
Also maybe the Orange Box. Anyone else have it for 360? |

| | pandora | ] | i lack sleep. have for about, oh, three weeks.
this makes me cranky. which, amusingly, makes me crankier. i dislike being short-fused. it's unbecoming. but again, so is using the word unbecoming, or at least i always tended to think so.
also irritating is the fact that every time i think i'm over the ex she starts appearing all over town and i'll see the bronco no less than three times a day. ugh.
this may have something to do with lack of sleep--the only dreams i have while in such a funk are either upsetting or happy, and when i wake up the fact that the happy ones aren't real is a total bummer.
i'd worry i'm in my funk again like i was for half the summer, but i have a feeling this all links back to lack of sleep, which leads back to all sorts of drama involving pregnancies, skipping school to do the right thing (ironic, that--the same catholic school that teaches us all to put others above myself punishes me for doing just that. clearly they meant worry about others *after* i leave their establishment if it inconveniences them), a dear friend's asshole, pothead boyfriend, and general instances of me disagreeing on how best to handle situations with my parental units, who tend to wish i was more like my academic all-star sister, who has no moral values, social life, or indeed, redeeming qualities apparent at the present time.
but i'll bet she'll make a lot of money. ayup.
oh, and if people would stop blatantly lying to my face, that'd be great. if you don't want to say something, fine. don't say it. but don't be a little prick and splurt out blatant falsehoods because i feel strongly on certain issues where you make the same mistakes that hurt you over and over again. |

So, last weekend we moved. Fun, except for all the heavy lifting and general headaches on where to put stuff (My room is still exactly like it was on Friday--perhaps this weekend I'll get it done.). Eric and his parents came over to help Saturday, so that made stuff a lot easier.
Was sick Monday and Tuesday. Read basically all my Animorphs books that've been packed away for ages. Can't find the Hork-Bajr Chronicles, though, which bothers me. I know I saw it...
Also played with all my RiD Transformers. I need the full-size Scourge, the mini one is cool, but I need a giant badass robot to compliment Zero with.
... man, I had a lot of RiD. And the only thing I'm missing of the toys I have is Hightower's gun that goes in the cabin. But I think that's around somewhere. >_>;
Wednesday I found out someone from the trip lives in my old neighborhood. Well cool.
Yesterday was alright. Didn't do much.
Got MP2 today. Kicks ass. Also had my first driving session with the instructor. Boring. But, MP2. Which I shall play now. Mmm, MP2. |

Remember an entry or two back when I said results might be huge?
Oh fucking boy, are they huge.
We're moving to a house in town... which means we'll have more then aproximitly 1000 square feet to spread our stuff out. Granted, we won't be waterfront, and thus Wrecking Crew won't be as easy to work on, but still. We're getting away. No more coming over and asking me to find the Address Book on Outlook. No more having people come over to store food in our fridge. No more craning my neck up to see the mounted TV. No more computer in the 'rent's bedroom.
...and also, we got Dad's old train set, that he had as a kid. It's bigger then our kitchen table and about 70 years old, and rocks so bad.
Erm, anyway, move is this weekend, so I might miss the last two driver's ed classes, which is blah.
Mom STILL hasn't e-mailed Mrs. Keeley, and she said she'd do it before I got home, but got all POed when I said, "ha, told you you wouldn't do it when I was at school!" We NEED to talk with her, damnit... |

Yesterday was the men's varsity championship game, and Mr. Morse, the school's athletic director/gym teacher, being the soccer-humper he is, decided to give them a "spirit bus" of people who would go to the game. Nevermind he wouldn't give the hockey team one last winter... *coughbiasedarsehatcough*
So, yeah, I went, and it got me out of English and Spanish classes. Rock.
Bus ride over (to Baltimore's St Paul's): Uneventful.
Game: Good. I loved when Cattanio was running SO DAMN FAST he fell and skidded Superman-style for, like, fifteen feet. I thought he was trying to knock the ball back in 'cause he nearly kicked it out of bounds. But damn can that boy run. We nicknamed the other team's goalie Spiderman, because he was freakishly agile and had a spider-sense, I swear to God. But, um, we lost 3-1, so blah. And I wanted to rush the field, too. ;_;
Ride back: Good... until we got to the McDonald's in Annapolis for dinner. Seems a fuse blew or something, and the headlights went out. So we ended up hanging around for three hours because the bus that was supposed to get us broke down en route or sommat, and the other bus was an hour and a half away. Ended up gettign a ride with Justin, and got home at 9 o'clock. Argh.
...and I could've gotten a ride home with Caroline's uncle about forty minutes earlier, but his pickup only seats five, and the Shannahan's asked for a lift first. And no one else but Justin seemed to be heading to Easton, so we had to wait on his mom. Blah.
... though playing Cell Phones, as opposed to Spoons, was fairly entertaning. Thank God someone brought cards. ^_^
And Halo 2 TEMPTS ME SO BAD. But I will be strong, if only because I don't have the money to buy a XBrick.

PC's back. Whooo. We ending up staying at the guy who fixed it's house until midnight... keeping in mind we live in Easton, and he lives in Alexandria. That's two hours-ish apart, for thsoe who don't know.
Spent about four hours in DC beforehand, looking at the new Indian museum. It was cool, I suppose. Well, the building was, anyway. >_>; Wish they had more stuff on the Piscataway. It was more, "Hey, we're Indians! We're still here!" and less a history, which was disappointing.
...but we have other museums for that, so I was fairly pleased.
Then we went to the National Zoo, which I love and adore. It seriously kicks ass, no matter what anyone says. And as anyone local knows, it rained yesterday, which meant NO ONE was there. We had the pandas and Bird House entirely to ourselves. One of the pandas was sleeping out on that big log up front, so we got a good look at him. I haven't seen them in a few years... they've gotten big.
It ended up me and mom walking around for about three hours, when we only planned on staying for one. Nice warm and fuzzy feeling.

The stickers suck, but luckily, I have a model in the Command Mission black Zero figure. Eeek. - In my defense, there were three of them, and they blitzkrieged me. >_>; - Nintendo actually made a cool gimmick in the DK Bongos. A-freaking-mazing. - The GLS is stupid. Did I mention that? - And what's the deal with provisionals? It's not like I'll be driving during the off-limits hours (midnight to 5 am), anyway. Strange. - I'll get pictures of my Zero figure up once I paint him, 'cause it'll be awesome, and you shall all bow down and worship him in all his kickass-ness. - Opinion: Should I paint his Z-Sabre? It's the same color as his hair right now, and rather "blah." - HUGE-ass Spanish exam Monday. I'm actually going to study for this one. >_>; - Speaking of huge, there was a GIGANTIC spider on the Whaler yesterday. MY HOMEWORK IS FAR MORE FUCKING IMPORTANT THEN YOU LOOKING AT EBAY, OKIE?
Blah. Fucker. I'm so sorley tempted to just not do it... but I suck at Chemisty anyway, and missing a huge lab report won't exactly help.
...damnit, I hate Chemistry. It's like another year of Algebra II, my worst subject of all time.
God fucking damnit.
I'm constitantly being bugged to do somethign I'VE ONLY EXPLAINED A DOZEN TIMES, I DON'T HAVE THE FREEDOM TO DO SO AT MY LESIURE. In case you didn't get the point earlier, FUCK OFF AND BITE ME.
*insert favorite swear*
While I'm in a ranty mood, what else...
Ah. Yes. Still no PSO+. Fuckers. We had a whole weekend, and all we did was sit about the house. AND CERTIAN FAMILY MEMBERS COMPLAIN THEY'RE FAT.
Blah. I'm pissed off and being very, very unfair. I also don't give a fuck.
AHAHAHA. BITE ME, WORLD.
...damn post-pubescent moodiness.
First person to comment with a pube scent joke dies, 'kay? =D
... and now I feel somewhat better. But there's no one online to rant to. Blah.
... I'm really repetitive, has anyone else noticed that in thsi post?
... I'm really repetitive, has anyone else noticed that in thsi post?
Ugh, I aplogize for that tasteless pun. Made me feel a bti better, though.
Speaking of better, I got S-Red's Arms today in PSO. The terribly ironic thing is, Mome, the biggest wussy of a NPC in the history of all NPCs, killed the Sinow Red that dropped it. I suppose his poor, digital life has a purpose after all.
...of course, in my excitment, I saved and quit straight away after I picked the magical red box up, in case of a freak power outage, so now I have to do Unsealed Door all over again. Meh. At least Mome doesn't die too easily with lv 18 Deband.
Whee. This's been my best PSO find since my Red Saber a few weeks ago. Handy. And, Teal leveled uop. Tah. |

Anyway, now I'm off to copy all my CDs, because most of them were .wma's. Which Inc dislikes when I send to him. >_>

Cut me some slack, I just started Zero two days ago. >_> I need a Red Saber or Lavis Cannon, a random God's Shield, and the Monkey King Bar to complete the Zero look... she's already got the red coloring, ponytail, and Handgun (for Buster Shot). Muehehehe! ^_^
Not much else going on, went bowling with Eric and Emily yesterday. I'm proud to say I didn't gutterball as much as those two, although due to several strikes and spares I never won. 55 the first game, 70-something the next.

| | Days Go By - Dirty Vegas | ] | Right. Sunday, the party took place, loverly weather. I had been taking pictures with Milt's new digital camera from the roof for around an hour (damn, the shingles were hot. x_o), and then Dad told me to come down and take pictures from the Cove. SO me and my cousin, Taylor, went out on the Whaler and got several decent shots, and were in the process of docking.
Now, for those unfamiler with my dock (and I'm sure all of you are), here's a crappy ASCII drawing to Aid this explaination.
------------S-----SSSS B-PDDDDDDDDOCO----TTTT W-DDDDDDDDDHC-----TTTT W-DDDDDDDDDHC-----TTTT S-PDDDDDDDDHC-----TTTT ------SODDDOCO----TTTT ------MDDDDHB----DTTTT ------MODDDDDDDDDDTTTT ------BDDDD-----DDTTTT -------ODDO-----DDTTTT -------DDDD-------BBBB GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
W = Whaler's spot C = Chris Craft's spot M = Sailboat's spot T - Trawler's spot D = dock O = piling P = pole - = water G = ground B = bow of boat S = stern of boat
Yeah, the proportions are all off. But all we really need to pay attention to is the left side of the dock, the Whaler's spot, and the poles. The poles are just PVC piping anchered to the dock and hang over the Whaler's bow and stern with hooks that go on, suprisingly, the bow and stern. Keep in mind the tide's just started going out, with the right side being upstream. (That means water's flowing towards the left of my shoddy map, for the tide-impared)
...mind you, we have all the other lines, too. It's be stupid to tie it up like that alone. o_o;
So. We're docking, and I had grabbed the bow pole, and told Taylor to get the stern one while I was holding onto the bow pole. And the thing that happens in every comedy involving a boat, happens. I start drifitng away. Now, I don't have one foot on the dock and the other on the boat, but both feet on the boat and my hands slightly above me, on the pole.
...and all I can think of is that line from the movie, On Golden Pond.
"Um... what do you normally do when this happens?"
Anyway. I'm trying to pull myself back up, because at thsi point I'm at around a 110-degree angle. I turn my head, and Taylor's just standing there. But I'm preoccupied enough, as I have both Milt's camera and my cell phoen in my pockets.
120 degrees. I can still pull myself back up...
140. Okay, this is starting to suck.
160. Goddamnit.
180. Better get in soon, or I'll have to get my feet off the boat and scramble up to keep my pockets dry...
185. Crap, this is look-SNAP.
Yup, the corner of the dock snapped off around an inch outside the bracing. Had to put a new bracing in Tuesday, and neither the camera or phone is working. Rawr, I had Lucca's theme on the phone. >_<
But as for current life, not much. Weekend good.
Inc's back. Yay.
I'm upset at certian people right now. They know who they are. *shakes fist*
Got a new CD(Best of Hits, volume 1: Dance) and book(Blood Rites(It's not gory or goth or anything. >_>)) instead of PSO+ Wednesday, as no one had it yet. Rawr. Also found out no one except EB Games will buy old PSO, and EBG only plays four bucks. Should've figured, with the access key and all. Gonna go out and buy + today, probably.
... if anyone wants Phantasy Star Online Episode One & Two, get in touch with me. =D |
